Club & Fishery Rules

Club rules are simple, straightforward, and common sense.

They are framed to respect the fish, our water, and our fellow anglers.

 

  1. Members must be in possession of a current club membership & valid rod licence(s) when fishing the club water
  2. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult member over the age of 21 at all times
  3. No disturbing other members
  4. No fires and no litter to be left on the fishery
  5. Excess baits must not be deposited in or around the lake
  6. All baits, including ground bait, to be limited to 2kg per session
  7. No fishing after midnight prior to a match day
  8. All fish to be handled with care and returned to the water (the committee recommend the use of unhooking mats for all specimen fish)
  9. The club Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on the last Tuesday in February. Members will be advised by letter or email of time and venue
  10. Any proposals for the AGM must be in writing and lodged with the club chairman or secretary at least 3 weeks prior to the AGM
  11. Club water is closed from March 1st to Sun April 14th 2024, inclusive. Season commences Monday 15th April 2024.

 


Anyone found to be in breach of any of the Club Rules may have their membership revoked.
